The StringStart Project
John Adams Elementary School, Alexandria, Virginia
Left Bank Concert Society music teachers provide weekly instruction in fundamental violin and viola technique to second and third grade students over the course of a ten-week spring term. Each fall, Left Bank instructors return to support of these students and their peers as they begin fourth-grade orchestra class. John Adams Elementary School is the designated Arts Integrated School for the City of Alexandria Public Schools. The Left Bank Concert Society is very grateful to the John Adams faculty and staff for their support of this project.
